Kolkata Knight Riders star Harshit Rana enjoyed a great season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. The right-arm pacer played a key role in KKR’s triumphant campaign this season.

He impressed everyone with his ability to take wickets at any stage of the game. In KKR’s first game of the season, he bowled a match-winning spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad by defending 12 runs in the final against the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and Shahbaz Ahmed.

He didn’t take care of that impressive start and finished the season as the fifth highest wicket-taker. In 11 games, Harshit Rana took an impressive 19 wickets as KKR won the IPL for the third time and first since 2014.

Harshit Rana Picks His Top 3 T20 Batsmen:

Having played with and against some of the best T20 batsmen around the world and in the IPL, Harshit Rana has revealed his top 3 batsmen in the shortest format of the game. He recently appeared on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube show and revealed the names of the three batsmen.

The 22-year-old started by picking India’s batting superstar Virat Kohli, calling him the best batsman in the format before picking England star Jos Buttler and South African Quinton de Kock.

“Virat bhaiya, I am talking only about IPL, but Virat is overall the best in the format. Jos Buttler, and for me right now Quinton de Kock,” Harshit Rana said.

The host quickly asked Harshit Rana the reason why people like Suryakumar Yadav were left out.
and Heinrich Klassen. In response, the young walker said:

“They are good too, but when I am bowling the new ball and these three are in front of me, then I have to think more about where to bowl, what to do. You can’t bowl short to Quinton. He plays short ball very well, the pace has no no effect on him,” said Harshit Rana.

“Jos Buttler, I feel like (Jos) Buttler is a very difficult batsman to face. He crushed me this year in the game we lost against RR. I find him difficult because he has all the shots in the world, whether it’s a turn, “Pedal or be in playing position. Virat Bhaiya can play all the shots. His game plan is so solid that you have to make several plans before bowling to him,” he added.

Kohli had a brilliant campaign in this year’s IPL as he finished the competition as the leading run-scorer. He scored 741 runs with the help of one century and five fifties. On the other hand, Buttler scored 359 runs with the help of two centuries, while De Kock scored 250 runs with the help of three fifties.
