The former patron of India has now uploaded second to the list.
The former Captain of India, Virat Kohli, surpassed the Australian legend Ricky Ponting for most of the catches taken in Odi during the in -progressive Ind VS Aus clash in the semifinal champions Trophy 2025.
Kohli eclipsed Ponting to take second place on the list with a total of 161 captures, while the Australian had 160 in his name.
Kohli took two trapped during Australian entries, one from Josh Inglis and the other of Nathan Ellis.
The main batter of India now only follows Mahela Jayawardne by Sri Lanka, who has 218 trapped impressive to her name.
