South Africa national cricket team captain Aiden Markram failed to convert the outing with the bat in the ongoing third T20I against the Indian national cricket team. The penultimate match of the series between the teams will take place at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Chasing 220 runs, after the South Africa National Cricket Team lost both openers early, captain Aiden Markram looked to stabilize the innings. He took some time to get going and after that played some big shots in his innings, posing a threat to the bowlers of the Indian National Cricket Team.

Markram, in particular, tried to take the attack to Varun Chakravarthy and hit him for a big six in the 10th innings. The Proteas captain tried to top the over and tried to play another big hit on the last ball of the over but it didn’t work.
On the last ball of the over, Varun Chakravarthy drops a short ball on the wicket. Aiden Markram rocked back as he saw the length and start of the shot. The South African captain tried to control it and lost form in the shot and missed the mark.
The ball headed towards the deep mid-wicket area, where Ramandeep Singh caught it easily. But what caught the attention of many was Aiden Markram’s reaction after leaving. The captain became enraged as he returned to the pavilion.

Tilak Varma and Abhishek Sharma lead India to a massive total of 219 runs in third T20I against South Africa
Earlier in the day, India put in a mammoth effort with the bat. When asked to bat first, they did not get off to a great start as Sanju Samson registered his second consecutive duck. However, Abhishek Sharma (50) and Tilak Varma (107*) made up for the initial loss.
The duo attacked the South African bowlers and scored 107 runs together for the second wicket. After Abhishek came out, Tilak brought his bat and ended up hitting a sensational ton. This was his first appearance in international cricket and he came when the team needed him the most.
However, India continued to lose wickets at the other end but a brutal finish by debutant Ramandeep Singh (15) took India to a total of 219 for six. The series between the two teams is tied 1-1 after two games.
