Ravi Bishnoi showed remarkable reflexes as he took an accurate catch to send Brian Bennett back in the ongoing third T20I between India and Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.
Chasing 183 runs, Zimbabwe got off to a poor start and lost two wickets in three overs. Avesh Khan gave India the first breakthrough by dismissing Wessly Madhevere for 1 run in the second over. In the third over, Khaleel Ahmed sent back Tadiwanashe Marumani for 13 before Ravi Bishnoi’s stunning effort put India in the driving seat.
On the first ball of the fourth over, Avesh bowled a short delivery outside the base stump. The ball was there to be hit and Bennett did not hesitate. The right-handed batsman cut the ball hard and Ravi Bishnoi had a split second to react.
Well, the Indian bowler did not disappoint as he quickly jumped up and caught the ball with both hands in the blink of an eye. Bennett simply could not believe that he had been dismissed and his reaction said it all as the Zimbabwean batsman had a wry smile on his face as soon as Bishnoi completed the catch. Bennett departed after scoring 4 runs.
