The ball unexpectedly deflected off the top of his bat and headed straight towards Jordan at the iconic Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad. With lightning speed, Chris Jordan reacted instinctively and dove to his right.

The crowd in Trinidad was stunned when he picked the ball out of the air, executing a spectacular catch that not only dismissed Mayers but also swung the momentum of the match in TKR’s favour.

The stadium erupted in cheers at Chris Jordan’s brilliant effort, with Mayers walking back to the pavilion to score 60 runs in 30 balls, as the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) team took control in the CPL 2024 clash, which they eventually won by seven wickets against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKNP).

Meanwhile, Chris Jordan was impressive in Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) triumph as the player finished with figures of 2 for 29 from his four overs against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKNP). In a thrilling win, Nicholas Pooran (93*) and Jason Roy (64) were fantastic.

SKNV batted first after TKR decided to field first, and put up a massive total of 193/4 on the board in their 20 overs. SKNP captain Andre Fletcher fell just one run short of a century, contributing 93 runs off 61 balls, which included six sixes and four fours.

Mayers also contributed 60 runs off 30 balls but also put up a solid 99-run partnership for the second wicket with Fletcher. On the other hand, Jordan dismissed Mayers, Akeal Hosein and Jayden Seals for TKR in the CPL 2024 match.

Chasing 194 runs to win the game, Pooran was the best performer as he scored 93 runs off just 43 deliveries with seven sixes and six fours. On the other hand, Roy also put in a pretty powerful performance, with 64 runs off 34 balls including four sixes and six fours. For SKNV, Kyle Mayers, Anrich Nortje and Tabraiz Shamsi took one wicket each against TKR.
