Sri Lanka national cricket team spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is trying hard to give his best with the ball in the ongoing first ODI against the Indian national cricket team. The match between the two teams is being held at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Sri Lankan bowlers have woven their net around the Indian batsmen. The hosts, after scoring a total of 230 runs, have ensured that they maintain parity with the ball. They have contributed with wickets at regular intervals and have put the visitors under pressure.
One of the key contributors for Sri Lanka was Wanindu Hasaranga. The former captain of the team has dealt heavy blows to the Indian team in the form of wickets in important matches. He also removed Kuldeep Yadav and the ball to get his Indian counterpart out was nothing short of exceptional.
Wanindu Hasaranga bowled a googly which Kuldeep Yadav tried to turn towards the leg side but ended up playing all over. The ball straightened a bit and hit the outside edge to hit the outside stump. It made the India batsman look clueless with the peach. Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli, who were sitting together in the dressing room, looked stressed after the dismissal.
