New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips took a one-handed stunner to dismiss Keegan Petersen during South Africa’s second innings. The second test between New Zealand and South Africa takes place at Seddon Park in Hamilton and the BlackCaps are in a strong position to win the match after the end of the third day as they only need 227 runs to win the second test and seal the match. the series winning it 2-0 against the Proteas.

David Bedingham then bowled out the Proteas for 235 in the century. The BlackCaps finished the day at 40/1 and now need 227 runs to win the match against South Africa. The capture of Glenn Phillips was the highlight of the day.

The first Test was largely dominated by the New Zealand batsmen as captain Kane Williamson smashed centuries in both innings and Rachin Ravindra smashed a double century in the first innings, propelling the Kiwis to 511.

New Zealand will host Australia on a multi-format tour where the two teams will face each other in three T20Is and two Test matches. The three-match T20I series between the trans-Tasman rivals will begin on Wednesday, February 21 at Wellington’s Sky Stadium.
