Watch: Ishant Sharma Tries to Scare Ravindra Jadeja as Indian Stars Engage in Hilarious Pranks

Indian teammates Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were involved in a fun moment together during the game between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals in Vishakhapatnam on Sunday (March 31).

The incident took place in DC’s 15th innings when Ishant Sharma was bowling against Ravindra Jadeja. The third ball of the over was a no-go as Ishant Sharma had gone over while he bowled Shivam Dube. With Dube taking a no-ball single, Ravindra Jadeja was on strike for the free hit.

The veteran pacer bowled a brilliant yorker at 145 kmph and Ravindra Jadeja had no reply. He could only push it down the field to the bowler. Ishant Sharma picked up the ball before pretending to throw it towards Ravindra Jadeja.

However, Jadeja simply turned away and said nothing before Ishant Sharma walked towards him and said something with a smile on his face. Jadeja also burst out laughing before the DC pacer turned around and started walking towards the bowling mark.

Talking about the game, CSK were at 129 for 6 in the 17th over at the time of writing this report. The defending champions are chasing 192 runs for their third straight win of the season. With Jadeja and MS Dhoni in the middle, CSK would hope their star players guide them to victory and extend their winning start to IPL 2024.

Early in the game, half-centuries from David Warner and Rishabh Pant helped DC post 191 for 5 in 20 overs. Warner and Prithvi Shaw laid the foundation for the grand total by adding 93 runs for the opening stand before departing for 52 and 43 respectively in quick succession.

In the second half of the innings, Pant led the charge with the bat, scoring 51 to help his team achieve the grand total. DC looks for its first win of the season after losing the first two games.
