Jasprit Bumrah takes Usman Khawaja’s wicket to give his team a breakthrough
Jasprit Bumrah was credited for his disciplined bowling as he removed Usman Khawaja to provide his team with the opening wicket. However, after that, he got right into Marnus Labuschagne’s head as the two engaged in a gripping battle.
It all started with Virat Kohli sledging Marnus Labuschagne while the batsman came out to bat. However, after that, it was Jasprit Bumrah who tested the Australian National Cricket Team batsman and even had a heated exchange several times during his final over.
In the third ball of the 13th over, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a short delivery on middle, to which Marnus Labuschagne took his bottom hand while defending it. Immediately after that, he shouted, “Wait,” as the ball rolled towards Bumrah, who picked it up and threatened to back away.
After that, both Jasprit Bumrah and Marnus Labuschagne stared as a batsman uttered “come on” to the fast bowler as if urging him to bowl. Things between the two continued even after that, on the next ball when the speedster beat the batsman. After the end of the over, Kohli hit the batsman again.

While Nathan McSweeney finished Day 1 unbeaten with 38 runs off 97 balls, Labuschagne finished with 20 runs off 67 balls.
