Kevin Sinclair

West Indies spinner Kevin Sinclair has been bowling quite well for his team in the second Test match against the England National Cricket Team. The second match of the three-match series between the teams is underway at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

England, after being asked to bat first, have done a reasonable job. Ollie Pope has scored a superb century and put the team in a strong position. Apart from him, Ben Duckett, at the top, scored a brutal half-century to get his team off to a spectacular start.

Young batsman Harry Brook also looked in fine form and played some superb shots but his stay at the crease was cut short by Kevin Sinclair. It is fair to say that the batsman gave away his wicket as England lost their fourth wicket on the first day of the ongoing Test against the West Indies.

During the 42nd over, Kevin Sinclair bowled a ball that was outside the off. The batsman moved and leaned in to try and hit it well. However, Harry Brook failed to connect with it properly as the ball bounced off his toe and was caught by Kirk McKenzie.

When Kevin Sinclair got Harry Brook out, the pitcher did his signature celebration. He did a full flip and wowed the crowd with his celebration.

Here is the video:

Harry Brook played a good hand for his team in the ongoing Test. The right-hander played an innings of 36 runs off 34 balls as he tried to bowl aggressively. The middle-order batsman also hit three fours and a six in his innings. With his wicket, England were left at 201/4.

Kevin Sinclair has been good with the ball. Though he is yet to get wickets, he has been giving the English batsmen a hard time with his lines and lengths. Among all the bowlers, he has the lowest economy as he has been quite tight.

Ben Stokes defends his team with the bat

After England lost Harry Brook and Ollie Pope in a short space of time, captain Ben Stokes has been defending his team’s position. The all-rounder has shown great control with the bat and looks set to deliver a big knock to take his team to the dominant position.

Ben Stokes has scored a magnificent half-century and was hitting 68 runs off 101 balls at the time of writing this article. With the direction he is taking, it seems that he is set to go a long way. The all-rounder would be keen to take his team to a total of more than 500 runs and outscore the opposition.

England have already taken a 1-0 lead in the series. They will be hoping to win the ongoing match as well and seal the series in the same. The onus will be on captain Ben Stokes to lead his team to a big total and then allow the bowlers to be aggressive.
