Pakistan national cricket team fast bowler Khurram Shahzad has been throwing fire with the ball in the ongoing Test match against the Bangladesh national cricket team. The first match of the three-match Test series between the teams is being held at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

So far, Khurram has been the standout bowler for the Pakistan National Cricket Team in the ongoing Test match against Bangladesh. The fast bowler has bowled impeccable lines and lengths in the game and has put the opposition batsmen in a bind with his ferocious pace in the first innings.

Khurram Shahzad has been fantastic with the ball and has found the right length. He got his team back into the game after the 94-run stand between Shadman Islam and Mominul Haque. Bangladesh batsmen were doing a great job and managed to get the team back into the game.

Bangladesh lost two early wickets and the duo joined forces to get the team out of trouble. They hardly made any mistakes in their innings and with the way they were playing, Pakistan was under pressure. However, Khurram Shahzad came up with a sensational ball to break the partnership.

On the first ball of the 52nd over, Khurram bowled a peach that Mominul Haque had no clue about. The pacer bowled a nipbacker from the wicket which came back in from outside off. The ball hit the inside edge and the batsman’s defence hit the stumps and sent the batsman packing.

Khurram Shahzad earlier dismissed Bangladesh national cricket team captain Najmul Hossain Shanto with a similar type of ball. The player castled the batsman’s stumps with his pace and dismissed him for 16 runs to rattle the visitors early in their innings.

Pakistan national cricket team ended the second session of day 2 with a good result. Mohammad Ali also supported Khurram and dismissed Shadman Islam on the last ball before tea to rattle the Bangladesh team and cause pain to the batsman by removing him just before his century.

Mohammad Ali bowled a fuller, angled delivery, which Shadman got to late in the front defence. The ball snuck in and crashed into the middle stump. The batsman tried to push rather than defend, leaving a gap between bat and pad for the ball to sneak in and his stumps to shatter.

Shadman Islam fell just 7 runs short of his ton. He finished with an innings of 93 runs off 183 balls with the help of 12 boundaries. With his wicket, Bangladesh lost their fourth wicket and were left reeling at 199/4.
