England speedster Mark Wood has been sensational with the ball in the third match of the series against the West Indies National Cricket Team. The final match of the series between the teams is taking place at the Edgbaston in Birmingham.

West Indies are not having a good time with the bat in the second innings of the ongoing Test match against England. One of the major reasons behind that has been fast bowler Mark Wood. The right-arm bowler has made the opposing batsmen look clueless with his brilliant spell of fast bowling.

Mark Wood, with his fiery streak, has looked unplayable, and that was made quite clear after he dismissed Alzarri Joesph with a peach. The fast bowler bowled a fireball that the batsman did not understand and had to walk a long way to the pavilion without making a major contribution.

Mark Wood bowled a fast, full ball heading towards the middle stump. The pace of the ball was such that Alzarri Joseph hesitated to move forward, and it was the result of a couple of bounces he bowled earlier. The ball came in quickly and passed between the pad of the bat before smashing the middle stump.

Here is the video:

Alzarri Joseph was unable to make a major contribution as he scored just 2 runs in 10 balls. After taking his wicket, England player Mark Wood was all over the West Indies National Cricket Team as he wrapped up the tail quite quickly.

Mark Wood, in the 52nd over, got the better of the ball by taking three wickets. He started the over with the wicket of Kavem Hodge as he found the outside edge of his bat and finished his innings with 55 runs off 76 balls. He was the only lone warrior on his team in the second inning.

After that, Mark Wood ripped off the outside off stump of Jayden Seales. The fast bowler bowled a fast, straight ball to the outside off stump which moved late and away again and as it passed the outside edge, it got the batsman out.

On the last ball of the over, Mark Wood removed Shamar Joseph to claim his fifth over. He flicked the ball outside off to draw the drive and Shamar Joseph attacked it with all his hands. The ball caught the outside edge and was caught by Harry Brook at second slip as West Indies finished with a total of less than 200 runs in the second innings.

Mark Wood finished with the figures of 5/40 and his incredible skill with the ball saw England outscore the West Indies National Cricket Team by 175 runs and set themselves a target of 81 runs to chase. They would be keen to win the game as quickly as possible and complete the 3-0 thrashing. Captain Ben Stokes has come out to open the innings and would be keen to get some runs and end the series on a high.
