In the end, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were limited to a score of 171/6 and faced their first defeat under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad by 20 runs against the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC).

Coming back to MS Dhoni, he brought out his best in the last over against Delhi Capitals (DC) as he smoked Proteas’ main pacer Anrich Nortje for 20 runs in the last over.

Dhoni started with a four and followed it up with an outrageous one-handed six in the mid-wicket region. The former CSK captain then hit a four and a six in the fourth and sixth balls to get 20 runs.

Watching MS Dhoni’s classic cameo with the bat, former Australia national cricket team player Tom Moody used his official X to claim that the result of the match would have been in favor of Chennai Super Kings if Dhoni had batted earlier than Ravindra Jadeja. and Sameer Rizvi.
