Former Indian National Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid has been having a great time after his tenure ended following the 2024 T20 World Cup. The Wall has been enjoying his successful stint as he has been seen enjoying himself wherever he goes.

Following his stint as head coach, Rahul Dravid has been travelling and attending many events. The former Indian national cricket team coach first went to Paris for the Olympics and then returned to India where he handed over the trophy to the winners from Tamil Nadu.

In a new video that surfaced on social media, Rahul Dravid has been playing cricket with the NCA coaching team. In the clip that has gone viral on the internet, the former India head coach is seen bowling medium pace to the batsman, who pushed it for a single.

Dravid had a successful stint as the head coach of the Indian national cricket team. He was hired as the head coach after the 2021 T20 World Cup. Although it took him a while to get going, India faced quite a few disappointments.

Under his leadership, the team lost the semi-final of the 2022 T20 World Cup, the final of the 2023 ICC World Test Championship and the final of the 2023 ICC World Cup at home. He was offered an extension till the 2024 T20 World Cup and made sure to end his stint on a high.

Rahul Dravid won the 2024 T20 World Cup as the head coach. The Indian national cricket team displayed a dominant performance with the bat and ball. They remained unbeaten and became the first team in the history of the tournament to win the event without even losing a single game.

Since then, Dravid has been seen making many public appearances. The former India head coach is likely to return to the cricket fields. According to the various reports, he is expected to return to the coaching team but in the Indian Premier League.

Dravid is likely to become the head coach of the Rajasthan Royals in the 2025 edition. This comes after Kumar Sangakkara, who is currently the head coach of the franchise, is all set to join the England National Cricket Team as the white-ball head coach and the slot will be left vacant for former India head coach.

Dravid was the mentor of Rajasthan Royals in 2014 and 2015. He also played for the franchise and till the T20 World Cup he was associated with the Indian team. He was the coach of India’s Under-19 and A teams before taking over the responsibility of the National Cricket Academy. It remains to be seen when the franchise will make an official appointment regarding his signing. It will be a big boost for the franchise if he joins.
