Richa Ghosh took a splendid one-handed stunner to dismiss Fatima Sana in the final delivery of the 14th over bowled by Asha Sobhana. Richa showed superb reflexes and the ball got caught in her gloves, giving India a breakthrough.
Asha bowled a wild delivery outside the off-stump line, and the ball caught and drifted away from the batsman, who was looking to take a slow sweep across the line. However, it hit the outside edge of the willow and the ball went behind the posts, slightly away from the goalkeeper.
As the ball went away, Richa immediately took her right hand in that direction and the ball lodged in her gloves in an instant. His reflexes were spot on, because it is never easy to judge direction when the ball is coming quickly.

Replays showed that the reaction time during that process was just 0.44 seconds, showing that Richa had less than a second to react and catch. It was a great wicket because Fatima was batting with intent and could have taken the game and helped Pakistan post an above-average total on the board in the first innings.
Pakistan scores 105/8 after choosing to bat first
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to play first on a muggy afternoon in Dubai. However, they did not have a good start to the innings as they lost as many as two wickets in the powerplay and could only score 29 runs.
Later, they kept losing wickets in the middle and their innings never got the required momentum at any point. Finally, Pakistan finished with 105/8, which might not be enough to stop a strong Indian batting unit.
Arundhati Reddy starred in the ball, taking as many as three wickets and conceding just 19 runs in her four-over spell. Shreyanka Patil also bowled an economical spell, giving away just 12 runs for her two wickets.
The other three players picked up a wicket each and played a crucial role in restricting Pakistan to a low total. India hopes to achieve this target quickly and also improve its net run rate.
