Indian national cricket team batsmen Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan put up a show with the bat on Day 4 of the ongoing first Test against the New Zealand national cricket team. The duo entertained the crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan turned out to be the shining light of the Indian national cricket team on day 4 of the game. Both batsmen together frustrated the New Zealand National Cricket Team players and brought their team back into the game.
Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan share a mammoth 177-run partnership
Pant and Sarfaraz came out to bat together on Day 4 and right from the start, they were right. Both the batsmen started with an aggressive mindset and did not let up as they continued to chase the bowlers, both spinners and pacers.
It was Sarfaraz Khan, who took the aggressive route first and went on to close a magnificent century. This was his first ton for the Indian National Cricket Team, and he made sure to turn it into a big one and made a strong statement before the big games.
On the other hand, Pant made sure not to fall behind and kept the run flowing at the other end. The keeper-batsman attacked spinner Ajaz Patel and blasted a brutal half-century, making the New Zealand National Cricket Team players look clueless throughout.
Pant and Sarfaraz Khan shared a mammoth partnership of 177 runs and ensured that the Indian National Cricket Team got the lead. With the way they batted, they barely made a mistake and even gave many moments during their stand that made many of them laugh.
One such moment was when Sarfaraz Khan was seen losing his patience after the New Zealand national cricket team took the new ball. The right-hander tried to attack, but missed the balls. This made Pant walk towards him and calm him down, trying to make him understand that he should bat slowly.
This came as a surprise to many because Pant usually bats the same way Sarfaraz did. Therefore, calming the right-hander left many divided.

Sarfaraz Khan ends with an innings of 150 runs and Rishabh Pant dies with 99.
Sarfaraz, after getting his century, made sure to go ahead and play a great role for his team. He made sure his first ton was special as he ended up scoring 150 and helped the team surpass New Zealand’s score in the first innings.
Sarfaraz Khan finished with 150 innings off 195 balls. He batted at a strike rate of around 77 and also hit 18 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.
On the other hand, it was a headache for Pant. The keeper-batsman continued to bat positively after Sarfaraz Khan got out and almost got a ton. But he managed 99 runs off 105 balls. He hit 9 fours and 5 sixes in his innings.
