Watch: Saud Shakeel, Saim Ayub combine to drop a dolly

Pakistan national cricket team batsmen Saud Shakeel and Saim Ayub performed a strange play on the field during the second Test match against the Bangladesh national cricket team. The second match of the two-match Test series between the teams is being held at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan did not have a great performance with the bat as they were bowled out for just 274 runs. However, salt was poured into the wound when they got off to a poor start with the ball and misfired on the first ball of Bangladesh’s innings. The culprit for that was none other than vice-captain Saud Shakeel.

On the first ball, Mir Hamza bowled a first-class delivery to Shadman Islam. The ball went wide and deflected towards the end. The Bangladesh national cricket team batsman stood upright as the ball caught the outside edge and flew into the gully, where Saud Shakeel was stationed.

Saud Shakeel reacted quickly and it looked like it would be an easy catch. He tried to eat it but couldn’t and Saim Ayub, who was next to him, also couldn’t catch it. Pakistan national cricket team gave Shadman Islam a break. If they had caught him, it would have been a dream start for the hosts.

In the second Test between Pakistan National Cricket Team and Bangladesh National Cricket Team, the visitors have the upper hand. The hosts were asked to bat first and had the worst possible start to the innings as they lost Abdullah Shafique for a duck.

Pakistan national cricket team ran out all guns blazing and scored 274 runs in 86 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz was the best bowler as he picked a fifth over. Along with him, Taskin Ahmed took three wickets while Nahid Rana and Shakib Al Hasan also had wickets.

Bangladesh national cricket team had a good start to the innings. Opener Shadman Islam and Zakir Hassan batted well and managed to score 10 runs in the difficult phase.
