Scott Boland and Nitish Kumar Reddy got into a heated exchange
Reddy turned out to be extraordinary for the Indian national cricket team. He made his Test debut in Perth and impressed everyone with his heroics.
It didn’t look like the all-rounder was playing his first Test as he put in a fine performance with the bat. In two innings, he contributed 41 and 38* runs respectively. He was good with the ball and had figures of 0/4 and 1/21.
In the Adelaide Test, Nitish Kumar Reddy continued to show his brilliance and scored a crucial 42 runs in the first innings to take India’s total to 180 runs. He also took a crucial wicket from Marnus Labuschagne (64), who looked his best in Test cricket in a long time.
Nitish Kumar Reddy has a huge responsibility on his shoulders to build a great partnership with Rishabh Pant and help the Indian team take the lead after the star batsmen’s failure in the second innings.
He came out to bat after Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 6 in the 21st over as India were left struggling at 105/5. Reddy once again started well and looked comfortable in the middle.
Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar Reddy was involved in a verbal dispute with Scott Boland on the last ball of Day 2. Boland bowled a 137.2 km/h ball to Reddy, who swung his bat hard across the line, and a thick inner edge made the ball run. away to the square leg fence for four.
As Reddy ran between the wickets after hitting the delivery, Scott Boland was seen making some comments to the India youngster and sledging him. However, Reddy did not back down and responded with a few words.

Cheteshwar Pujara abandons verdict on day 2 of Adelaide Test
Speaking on Star Sports, disgraced Indian national cricket team batsman Cheteshwar Pujara shared his verdict on Day 2 of the pink ball Test.
He said Travis Head played a sensational and offensive innings against India. Pujara also lashed out at the Indian bowlers for not bowling bouncers to Head. He elaborated:
“I think Travis Head played very well. He played an attacking game. And the strike rate with which he played created a lot of difficulties for the players of the Indian team. But at some point I felt that our strategy could have been better. The players of Bowling could have bowled more bouncers to Travis Head and could have bowled more over the stumps.
“They gave him too much space on the outside stump. In the fourth and fifth stumps there were a lot of bowlers. They could have controlled it a little better and they could have bowled more in the middle and outside the stump. They could have taken a fielder, and with the pitch 5-4, they could have bowled more and the Indian players could have bowled a lot more bouncers.”
