Pakistan national cricket team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi came up with a new celebration after the birth of his son. He introduced it during the ongoing first Test against the Bangladesh national cricket team, which is being held at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Shaheen Afridi and his wife Ansha Afridi welcomed a baby boy on Saturday (August 24). The fast bowler has so far not been able to meet his son as he is on military duty and is putting in a lot of effort for the team in the ongoing Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

But the fast bowler made sure to celebrate the birth of his son in style. Afridi, who struggled to get going in the last two days with the ball, made sure to put in a strong effort on the fourth day of the ongoing Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

Shaheen Afridi took his first wicket on day 4 of the game when he removed Hasan Mahmud got his team back into the game. He made the ball talk and ensured that he finished the innings without taking a wicket to his name.

Shaheen Afridi bowled a full toss to the stumps, to which Hasan Mahmud attempted a great shot. He tried to work his way through the line and got a thick outside edge which was caught by wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan. The hard work paid off as he got his first wicket of the day.

But what caught the attention of many was Shaheen Afridi’s celebration after he took the wicket. The fast bowler came up with a celebration for his newborn son and the crowd cheered loudly, acknowledging the standout player for his celebration.

Hasan Mahmud failed to score a run as he got an 18-ball duck. With his wicket, the Bangladesh National Cricket Team lost their eighth over by 534 runs. However, after his wicket, the Pakistan National Cricket Team bowlers contributed with quick wickets.

Afridi got another wicket for his team and made sure he finished with two wickets under his belt. The fast bowler removed Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was bowling very well and extending the lead for the team.

Shaheen Afridi bowled a full delivery at an angle, which Mehidy hit hard and got an outside edge. The ball flew towards second slip and Agha Salman made no mistake. The fast bowler was spot on with his line and length at just the right time.

Mehidy Hasan finished with an innings of 77 runs and after that, Naseem Shah took the last wicket as Bangladesh National Cricket Team was bowled out by 565 runs. They took the lead by 117 runs.
