Delhi Capitals cricketer Radha Yadav revealed that she watches videos of Virat Kohli before the match as it helps her cheer up. She made the revelation to Jemimah Rodrigues after the win against the Gujarat Giants in the ongoing Women’s Premier League.
Radha Yadav was the star with the ball for Delhi Capitals in the match against Gujarat Giants. She bowled superbly well and helped her team win the game and get two important points in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024.
After Delhi Capitals posted a total of 163 runs on the board, Radha Yadav made sure to exude class with the ball and lead her team to victory. He bowled impeccable lines and lengths and troubled the opposing batsmen, ensuring he put his team in the driver’s seat of the game.
Radha Yadav picked up three wickets in the game and gave away just 20 runs in the four overs he bowled. The India player had an economy of just 5 and helped Delhi Capitals restrict the opposition to just 138 runs, win the game by 25 runs and reach the top of the table.
After her winning performance, Radha Yadav had an interaction with Jemimah Rodrigues. The batsman revealed that she viewed Radha’s YouTube account history and that she had Virat Kohli’s assault videos, which she watches before every game. Speaking in a video posted on the WPL site, she explained
“I want to share an interesting story: I was playing music on Radha’s phone on YouTube and you know what was in her story: Virat Kohli’s assault videos. Watch “Virat Kohli aggression videos” before every match!
Responding to this, Radha Yadav stated that she wants to be pumped up before every match and that’s why she watches videos of Virat Kohli before every match. She also stated that she relates a lot with the Indian batsman. She stated:
“Before every game you have to be excited. I watch their videos before every game. I’m identify whit him”.

Radha Yadav, who won the Player of the Match award for her heroics with the ball, spoke about her performance. She said that she needed to go for the wicket and that they were confident of defending the target of 163 runs.
Radha Yadav also praised the crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and expressed hope of seeing a similar crowd at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Speaking to broadcasters after the game, he explained:
“I think we needed to bowl towards the wicket, that’s what all the spinners did. The launch was slow and stopped a bit. We knew it wasn’t an easy pitch so we were confident of defending 163. We just hope we have the same kind of crowd in Delhi too and they come to support women’s cricket. The crowd here in Bengaluru was crazy, they just didn’t support any individual, they supported good cricket and they supported women’s cricket.”
