Watch: Sufiyan Muqeem’s farewell to Abhishek Sharma triggers ugly fight between India and Pakistan stars

India A batsman Abhishek Sharma gave his team an impressive start with the bat in the ongoing game against Pakistan A. The Emerging Asia Cup 2024 match between the two arch-rivals between the teams will be held at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amerat.

India A won the toss and had a spectacular start to their innings. Opening batsmen Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh came out firing and made sure to get their team off to a good start in the high-pressure game against Pakistan A.

Abhishek Sharma was removed by Sufiyan Muqeem

Abhishek, who has made a big name for himself in Indian cricket with his aggressive style, lived up to the expectations. The opener chased the bowlers from the start and oozed class with the bat.

Abhishek was at his aggressive best as he hit the bowlers all over the park. He got off to a great start with the bat but couldn’t continue. Sufiyan Muqeem removed the left-hander while trying to hit the bowler out of the park and get a boundary.

Abhishek came out of the crease to hit the wrist on the sheets. But he didn’t get the right connection and was trapped inside the circle. But as soon as he came out, tempers between the two players flared over a verbal dispute.

When Abhishek Sharma took the catch, Sufiyan Muqeem gave an aggressive dismissal to the batsman. He pointed his finger towards the exit and asked the batsman to leave the field. However, this did not go well for the Indian batsman as he returned it to the spinner.

Abhishek returned and exchanged a few words with the batsman. The umpire then separated the two players as the India A batsman left the ground fuming while the Pakistan player continued to stare at him.
