The 14th over of the second innings ended up being costly, with Klaasen scoring 23 runs.
During the third T20I between South Africa and India, Suryakumar Yadav dropped an easy catch from Heinrich Klaasen in the second innings.
In the 14th over of the second innings, Heinrich Klaasen unleashed his power by hitting three sixes in a row off Varun Chakravarthy’s first three balls, all of them short. The first six went over mid-wicket, the second was an even bigger shot that hit the roof in the same area and the third flew long.
On the fourth ball, a delivery outside off stump, Klaasen hit it straight to cover where Suryakumar Yadav was positioned, but dropped an easy catch.
Suryakumar Yadav moved to his right too early, misjudged the trajectory of the ball and ended up missing a direct catch.

On the fifth ball of the over, another short delivery from outside off, Klaasen lifts it over covers for a boundary. The strategy was to bowl him short and wide, but despite taking three consecutive hits, Klaasen mistimed the next shot straight to Suryakumar Yadav at covers.
Unfortunately, Suryakumar moved too early, misjudged the catch and dropped it. The over ended up being costly, with Klaasen scoring 23 runs.
India wins by 11 runs and takes a 2-1 lead in the series
Batting first, India posted an impressive score of 219-6 in their 20 overs, with Abhishek Sharma contributing a quickfire 50 off 25 balls and Tilak Varma scoring a brilliant century.
South Africa looked to be struggling during the chase, but a late charge by Heinrich Klaasen, who scored 41 off 22 balls, and Marco Jansen, who made 54 off just 17 balls, brought them within reach. In the end, they fell short by 11 runs.
Arshdeep Singh was India’s standout bowler, taking 3 wickets, helping India lead the four-match series 2-1.
