Suryakumar Yadav made a brilliant diving catch to send back the dangerous David Warner in the ongoing Super 8 game between India and Australia at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.
After posting a mammoth total of 205 for 5 in 20 overs, the momentum was with the Indian team and they further strengthened their control of the game with the initial breakthrough. Arshdeep Singh returned Warner in the first over to put India in the driving seat.
On the last ball of the over, the left-arm pacer bowled a delivery outside off and Warner ended up pushing it behind the stumps. The ball flew to the left of Suryakumar Yadav, who was standing at first slip and took a timely leap to complete a fine catch. Warner returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs.

Coming into the game, Australia were 71 for 1 in the eighth over at the time of writing. After Warner’s early dismissal, Travis Head and Captain Mitchell Marsh steadied the ship for Australia.
Early in the game, a stunning knock of 92 runs by captain Rohit Sharma propelled India to their highest total of the ongoing tournament. India lost Virat Kohli for a duck in the second over but that didn’t affect them much as Rohit tried his best.
He smashed a 19-ball fifty in the powerplay to give the team a good start. Rohit was finally out in the 12th over when Mitchell Starc castled him. Rohit’s 92-run knock came off just 41 balls and he was riddled with 7 fours and a record 8 sixes.
Players like Suryakumar Yadav (31), Shivam Dube (28) and Hardik Pandya (27*) also played crucial knocks to take India to their first 200-plus total in the tournament. India will look to win the current match to seal their place in the semi-finals. The Men in Blue have not lost a single match in the competition so far and will be eager to maintain their unbeaten run after achieving the grand total.
