Indian national cricket team player Varun Chakravarthy is making sure his comeback series is a memorable one. The mystery spinner has kept his team in the hunt in the ongoing second T20I against the Bangladesh national cricket team, which is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Varun Chakravarthy, who returns to India after three years, made sure to also get into the wickets column in the ongoing second T20I against the Bangladesh national cricket team. The spinner provided his team with the important wicket of Litton Das in the chase.

On the first ball he bowled in the game, Varun Chakravarthy came up with the jaffa and picked a wicket for his team in the powerplay. The mystery spinner made the Bangladesh National Cricket Team batsman look clueless and sent him packing after a small start with the bat.

Chakravarthy bowled a googly at the short end and Litton Das looked to flick it across the line. The wicketkeeper-batsman was hit due to lack of bounce and the stumps were disturbed.

Chakravarthy came up with the magical effort with the ball once again for the team. After removing Litton Das, he removed Rishad Hossain and Hardik Pandya took a sensational catch to remove the batsman and gave the mystery spinner his second wicket.

Former Indian National Cricket Team player Wasim Jaffer praised young batsmen Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh for their performance with the bat in the second T20I. He believes it was an excellent counter-attacking partnership and credited the team for winning the series. He said:

“Always good to see young potential converted into performance. Fantastic counter-attacking partnership between Nitish and Rinku after India lost three weeks on the PP. Bangladesh were never back in the game after that. Congratulations India for sealing the series”.

With the bat, India were reeling at 41/3. It was then that Rinku Singh (53), along with Nitish Kumar Reddy (74), bailed the team out of trouble and brought them back into the game. The duo added 108 runs off 59 balls and put the Bangladesh national cricket team on the defensive in the game.
