Watch: Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja mock Jasprit Bumrah by imitating his bowling and walking style

Team India and Bangladesh are currently busy playing the second Test at Kanpur’s Green Park. The game began on Friday (September 27).

The start of the game was delayed due to the humidity in the gardens. When the players finally took the field after the toss, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja decided to lighten the mood in the camp by imitating teammate Jasprit Bumrah’s unorthodox bowling action.

Kohli was the one to take the lead as he was seen imitating Bumrah’s action while the pacer was standing next to him. Fielding coach Ryan ten Doeschate was also there and was seen smiling at Virat Kohli’s antics.

The former India captain also imitated Bumrah’s walking style before Ravindra Jadeja also joined in the fun. The Indian all-rounder was also seen displaying Bumrah’s unusual style of walking back to his bowling mark.

Virat Kohli seeks redemption:

Kohli will look to bounce back in the ongoing Test after failing to impress in the previous Test. Although India recorded a comfortable victory over Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the right-handed batsman had a forgettable outing with the bat.

Kohli failed to get going with the bat in both the innings. Playing his first Test at home this year, the veteran batsman was out for just 6 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, he once again failed to score much and had to come out with 17 runs.

India, however, won the game by 280 runs to take an unassailable lead in the two-match series. After setting Bangladesh an improbable target of 515 runs, the hosts bowled them out for 234 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin starred in the second innings, taking 6 wickets. Before that, Ashwin had also scored a century in the first innings.

Talking about the ongoing game, India won the toss and opted to play first. It was the first time since 2015 that India opted to participate in a home Test first. Bangladesh were 93 for 3 after 32 overs at the time of writing this report.
