Indian national cricket team batsman Virat Kohli failed to live up to expectations during the first Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh.
Virat Kohli was dismissed after scoring just six runs in India’s first innings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Thursday, September 19.
Bangladesh fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud tested the Indian batsmen with an exceptional delivery after winning the toss.
The bowlers made the most of the favourable bowling conditions in Chennai and managed to pick up three crucial wickets in India’s first innings within the first hour.

Hasan Mahmud took the wicket of Virat Kohli on the second ball of the tenth over. Kohli chased down a delivery from outside the off-stump with strong hands for a big drive away from his body, resulting in a healthy edge.
Wicketkeeper Litton Das completed the simple catch. The Indian team lost their third wicket for 34 runs.
