While Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have struggled to perform well in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), their star batsman Virat Kohli has had a brilliant career so far.

After missing the five-match Test series against England to be with his pregnant wife, Virat Kohli returned to action in IPL 2024 and hit the ground running. In the first match of the season, he scored 21 against Chennai Super Kings before scoring two half-centuries in a row.

The right-handed batsman scored 77 to win the match against Punjab Kings. He was followed by an unbeaten knock of 83 against Kolkata Knight Riders before Lucknow Super Giants managed to dismiss him for just 22. Virat Kohli bounced back in style by smashing an unbeaten 113 runs against Rajasthan Royals in his last outing. With 316 runs in five games, he is currently the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024.

When things are going very well as far as his performance with the bat is concerned, Virat Kohli is in a very good mood. He has not hesitated to show the lively and humorous side of him on the field even though RCB has struggled to get positive results.

And a recent viral video clarifies his mental state. The video is from a net session in which Virat Kohli could be seen dancing in a hilarious manner.

Meanwhile, a recent media report claimed that Virat Kohli will surely be part of India’s squad for this year’s T20 World Cup. Before the start of the IPL, several reports claimed that the former India captain was doubtful for the T20 World Cup due to his strike rate. However, it looks like he will be part of the Indian contingent for this year’s biggest event.

Talking about RCB, they are reeling at ninth place in the points table after managing just one win in five matches. They started the season with a loss against Chennai Super Kings before beating Punjab Kings. Defeats against Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals followed.
