‘We warn that no …’: Rohit Sharma reveals a shocking incident of the Indian tour of the Western Indies in 2012

Cheteshwar Pujara is a stubborn man in the middle. Saurashtra’s mass has built its reputation by putting a price on its wickt in the red ball cryket. The refusal to give up his Wickt has obtained 103 trial limits, 7,195 races and 19 hundreds.

Pujara’s ability to hit for a long time had played an important role in the great victories of India in the Western Indies, Australia and South Africa. The former Indian test captain Rohit Sharma revealed another side of Pujara’s stubbornness during his tour with India A in 2012, which led the duo to be harassed by people in the Antilles.

Rohit Sharma shares Cheteshwar’s anecdote Pujara from 2012

During the launch of Pujara’s wife ‘The wife of a Cricket player’, Rohit asked Pujara to prepare the 2012 incident when he replied:

“I am a vegetarian, so we were looking for a vegetarian meal at night and I was in TNT (Trinidad and Tobago) where we went out at 11 at night. So, we did not find the food, but when we walked back, I was harassed. I can not tell you in detail, but that is the story to which it refers.”

Rohit immediately added to the anecdote saying:

“Moral of the story, sometimes we can be stubborn. We told him, we warn him, don’t go at night. Do not leave after 9 pm, these are the western Indies.”

How were Pujara team meetings

The Mumbaikar also remembered how to get Pujara was such a difficult task, team meetings used to revolve around that issue from their children’s children.

“I still remember that team meetings only turned around (on) how to get it out, and if we didn’t take it out, we would probably lose the game. All I remember is that when I used to go to the ground, when I was 14 years old, and when I returned at night, the color of my face would be completely different,” Rohit said.
