Less than 24 hours after doubling their series lead, West Indies now aim to complete a 3-0 sweep against South Africa, who are clearly missing the likes of Aiden Markram and Henrich Klaasen within their batting order.

WEST INDIES FORM: WINDIES TAKE THE SERIES WITH POWER BATTING DISPLAY

West Indies fans have reason to be very exciting moving forward, having taken an unassailable 2-0 lead across this series despite not having their best team all available for selection.

LAST FIVE: WWWLL

SOUTH AFRICA FORM: THREE CONSECUTIVE DEFEATS BUILDING PRESSURE UPON PROTEAS

South Africa’s bowling attack has been unable to keep a lid on West Indies across the series and leaves them fighting to avoid a series sweep and head to the ICC T20 World Cup on the back of a much-needed victory.

LAST FIVE: LLLWA

WEST INDIES BETTING ANALYSIS

The batters in particular have shone across this series so far for West Indies, one of those being Roston Chase. After scoring 32 not out in the first T20i, Chase backed that up on Saturday with another unbeaten knock, this time 67 from 38 balls. Having not been dismissed yet by the Proteas, it would be no surprise if Chase was to play a starring role again on Sunday.

Stand-in captain Brandon King has been another top performer. Opening the batting for the Windies, King has accumulated scores of 36 and 79 respectively. That includes a whopping nine sixes across both innings and his ability to clear the boundary rope makes him a huge threat in the powerplay.

SOUTH AFRICA BETTING ANALYSIS

We touched upon Proteas opener Reeza Hendricks in previous betting analysis involving South Africa and whilst the tourists’ results in this series so far haven’t been good, his showings with the bat have been. He followed up that brutal 87 in the first T20i with a solid 34, putting on an 81-run partnership with Quinton de Kock for the opening wicket.

No Kagiso Rabada has been hurting South Africa on the bowling front, with them struggling to contain West Indies. Andile Phehlukwayo deserves credit for his five wickets taken across the series after two games, but it has come at a cost of significant runs, Phehlukwayo conceding 51 runs from three overs in the second T20i.

WEST INDIES VS SOUTH AFRICA EXPERT PREDICTION

Clearly West Indies have coped significantly better with their missing players compared to South Africa over the course of this series. They are building significant momentum right when needed and with such a short turnaround between games, it would be no surprise to see them pick up right where they left off here. Back them to complete a 3-0 home sweep over the Proteas.
