Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Captain and Wicktkeeper-Batter Rishabh Pant, who became the most expensive purchase in the history of the Premier League (IPL) of India after the franchise owned by Sanjiv Goenka assured it for an enrouting of 27 million rupees, has not justified its high price label.

In the three entries so far in IPL 2025, Pant has achieved scores of 0 (6) vs. Capital de Delhi, 15 (15) vs SRH and 2 (5) vs PBK.

Echoing the same line, the Piyank Panchal domestic batter gave some ideas behind the reason for the Pant -down shape.

He wrote in X (previously Twitter): “I feel that @rishabhpant17 is slightly disturbed by the entire talk around its massive price. In addition, the CT did not play either, which has slightly interrupted its batting impulse. I am sure that it could recover soon.”

To give a perspective on the fall in the performance of Rishabh this season, it has a 71 SR with a high -rimped ball of 52.3 and a fake 42.8 fake shot, while facing 23.8% of the faced deliveries.

Speaking about the game, LSG started to hit first but lost Mitchell Marsh at the beginning of the first. The next big blow was to lose Aiden Markram and Rishabh Pant in consecutive overs, which left them staggered 35 by 3 in 4.5 overs.

It was then the couple of Nicholas Pooran and Ayush Badoni wrote a crucial stand of 50 races to make peace for the early setback and boost LSG’s tickets.

At the time of writing this report, the LSG marker read 166 for 5 in 19.1 Overs Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni currently hitting in the middle.
