He could not find a place for the second time.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) recruits for Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), Vyshak Vijaykumar could not find a place in the first choice playing XI for the second time.
This occurs despite producing a matching bowling alley as an impact player in the opening of the season against the Gujarat Titans (GT).
PBKS already has Arshdeep Singh as its first -line pacemaker along with multiple sewing achievement in Marco Jansen, Marcus Stainis and Azmatullah Omarzai that can play the second and third pacemaker while adding batting depth. Therefore, saving Vyshak to turn on as an impact player gives PBKs alignment more flexibility to cut and change according to the need.
While PBKs can play an additional batter in case of persecution, they can use Vyshak as an impact submarine while defending the totals, as they did in the game against GT.
