Former Indian national cricket team all-rounder Yuvraj Singh could bag the coaching post in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per reports in Sportstar, it is learnt that Delhi Capitals (DC) have approached the 2011 World Cup winner for the post.

Delhi Capitals are keen on bringing in Yuvraj Singh. The franchise has struggled to take off in the last few seasons and with them also sacking Ricky Ponting as head coach, there could be a possibility of the former Indian all-rounder coming on board as head coach.

Earlier, there were reports that Yuvraj Singh was in talks with Gujarat Titans to take over as head coach. This comes after it was learnt that Ashish Nehra will part ways with the franchise. However, it is now learnt that Nehra will continue in the role and the franchise is in talks with former Indian cricketers to replace Gary Kirsten, who is now the head coach of Pakistan.

Yuvraj was a great contributor to the Indian national cricket team. His contribution to the team was sensational and was one of the main reasons why the team won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ICC World Cup where he was awarded as the Player of the Tournament.

Yuvraj, who has played 40 Test matches, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is, has no coaching experience but has helped many young players including Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill and others. He also recently expressed his desire to coach the team once his children grow up.
