In a shocking development, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Ashraf has resigned from his position. Ashraf took over as PCB chairman in July last year, replacing Najam Sethi. This is Ashraf’s second term as PCB president and his recent tenure is considered one of the worst in the history of Pakistan Cricket.
The Pakistan team has not been in great form in international cricket since Zaka Ashraf took over as PCB president. Pakistan was eliminated from the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup 2023, while they lost seven matches in a row against Australia and New Zealand.
Zaka Ashraf has resigned as Chairman of the PCB Management Committee. He took charge on July 7 last year and his tenure is considered the worst period in Pakistan cricket.
