The Zimbabwe national cricket team has announced its squads for the white-ball series against the Afghanistan national cricket team. The two teams will face each other in the three-match T20I as well as the three-match ODI series.
Afghanistan’s tour to Zimbabwe will begin with the three-match T20I series. The first match of the series will be played on December 11, followed by the second and third matches on December 13 and 14, respectively. All three matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club.
After that, two teams will face each other in the three-match ODI series. The over-50 series will be played starting December 17, with the next match in the series being played on December 19, followed by the last match, which will be played on December 21. All matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club.

The T20I team will be captained by Sikandar Raza, while the ODI team will be led by Craig Ervine. Brother of Tom and Sam Curran, Ben Curran has been rewarded for his performances on the domestic circuit and has been named in the 50+ format squad for the series against Afghanistan.
Young left-arm pacer Newman Nyamhuri also earned the first call-up. He has been named in both teams and was picked after impressing with his performances at the Under-19 World Cup in South Africa, where he was Zimbabwe’s highest wicket-taker.
