On the other hand, Allah Ghazanfar next reported for immediate assignment, traveling to the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, located one hour and 15 minutes from Dubai to represent Team Abu Dhabi in their group stage match against the Northern Warriors. The 18-year-old spinner put in an impressive performance, posting figures of 1/10 in two overs as Abu Dhabi secured an eight-wicket win, their fourth win in seven games.

Talking about the 18-year-old’s credentials, the young spinner has been in the limelight recently, showcasing his talent for the Afghanistan senior team in the recent ODI wins against Bangladesh and South Africa. In the opening match of the three-game series against Bangladesh, Ghazanfar achieved career-best ODI figures of 6/26. Additionally, he contributed four wickets in three matches during Afghanistan’s 2-1 victory over South Africa in the United Arab Emirates in September.

Ghazanfar also made a significant impact in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup T20 held in Oman last month, where Afghanistan A clinched their maiden title. His remarkable figures of 2/10 were instrumental in Afghanistan A’s semi-final victory over India A.
