The next season of the Super League of Pakistan (PSL 2025) will face the next edition of India Premier League (IPL 2025). This is the first time that another T20 Liga franchise is carried out in the IPL window. The PSL is scheduled to begin on April 11 and continue until May 18, while the dates for the Indian League T20 have been established for March 22 to May 25.

However, this unique situation has given rise to a new possibility that can see the players jump from the PSL to IPL. The most recent example is Corbin Bosch, who was chosen by Peshawar Zalmi in the 2025 draft, but has now been appointed by the Mumbai Indians (MI) as a replacement for the injured Lizaad Williams.

With some players abroad still uncertain due to injury concerns, there is the possibility that replacement ads are incoming. Taking that into account, let’s take a look at three players who can leave PSL 2025 to play in IPL 2025.

Michael Bracewell

Michael Bracewell played for RCB in IPL 2023, but was largely inactive during most 2024, which significantly impacted its possibilities in the Mega Mega 2025 auction. With a high base price of INR 1.5 million rupees, it was not sold. However, a strong return on the international stage has returned, showing its comprehensive skills during the recent Champions Trophy 2025. He claimed 8 wickts and scored fifty vital ones in one of the matches, which shows that his worth once again.

For PSL 2025, Bracewell has signed with Finen Sultan. However, its versatility also makes it a valuable option for teams such as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) or Dehi Capitals (DC) in IPL, which are attentive to an SUV as a replacement. LSG is not still sure of the availability of Mitchell Marsh and Bracewell can be a genuine replacement option, while Kiwi’s inclusion in the DC line instead of Harry Brook can provide more depth and balance.

Meanwhile, Bracewell has also been appointed captain of the next series T20i Home T20i in New Zealand against Pakistan, which ends on March 26, which implies that the Kiwi would not be lost much of IPL 2025 if selected.

David Warner, who was not sold at the IPL 2025 auction, has been selected by Karachi Kings (KK) for the next PSL season. The former Captain of DC and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) enjoys a prolific IPL record and is the largest foreign player in the history of the tournament, accumulating more than 6,500 races.
