Moeen Ali developed a blister on his right index finger during the first test and was unable to get a good grip on the ball afterwards. He landed the balls short and was brought in for runs. After his injury, he did not play the second game at Lord’s and then made a stunning comeback in the third Test at Headingley.

“She said that she saw the wound and the cut on the finger. We want to send you some things to help. She sent me this thing called a Medihoney. It is a healing antibacterial gel made from Manuka honey. It has worked wonders and started to heal extremely fast. Now, I’ll keep bowling to keep it as tough as it is. I want to continue bowling every two or three days.”

Ashes 2023: “I think it’s unbelievable,” Moeen Ali says she will email the NHS worker after the series.

Moeen Ali went on to say that she will be emailing the NHS worker after Ashes 2023 as she found that amazing gel. She stressed that things like these make England beautiful. He commented:

“She just said that she used it herself. She works for the NHS. I’ll send you an email after the series. It seems to me an incredible thing. I am playing cricket and someone who has never met me is generous enough to do so. That’s why England is such an amazing place because of things like that.”

Moeen Ali played a crucial role on the ball in the Headingley Test and has been named in the squad for the fourth Test. The next game of the Ashes 2023 will be played at Old Trafford from July 19.
