The second Test is scheduled for December 6 at the Adelaide Oval.
Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has confirmed that he is fully fit and available for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India, starting on December 6 at the Adelaide Oval.
Marsh had been dealing with a minor injury that raised questions about his participation following Australia’s heavy 295-run defeat in the first Test in Perth. Concerned about his fitness, Australia had called up national player Beau Webster as a possible replacement.

However, Marsh has now put those concerns to rest and stated that he has recovered and is ready to take the field.
The pressure on Marsh has been increasing, particularly in the absence of Cameron Green, as the team needs Marsh to step up as a bowler and batsman. His role is crucial in maintaining the balance of the team, especially given the workload of Australia’s senior bowlers.
Marsh’s ability to contribute in both departments makes him a key player in the team’s strategy for the second Test. His fitness is vital in providing the necessary support to the aging bowling core, ensuring Australia has a complete lineup.
