Pakistan national cricket team batsman Ahmed Shehzad, 32, brutally mocked the Shan Masood-led team after their humiliating defeat against the Bangladesh national cricket team in the home Test series.

Shan Masood’s poor start as captain of the red-ball team continued after Pakistan suffered a drubbing at the hands of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. Masood had replaced Babar Azam in the role and is yet to win a Test match as captain.

Shan Masood captained Pakistan in a three-match Test series in Australia after being appointed as the full-time captain and the Men in Green faced a 0-3 defeat. Masood did not receive too much criticism from the pundits because it was his first series after taking charge of the team.

He was expected to lead Pakistan to victory in the home Test series against Bangladesh, but that did not happen either, and he has come under fire this time around. The Bangla Tigers stunned the hosts by winning the first Test by 10 wickets, and then beat the Shan Masood-led side in the second Test by 6 wickets to record a clean sweep.

Pakistan national cricket team’s batsmen failed to rise to the occasion in the series and the bowlers also looked clueless at times. Overall, the visitors outclassed the hosts in all aspects to record a historic Test series win.

Seeing Pakistan being humiliated at home, Ahmed Shehzad was furious and lashed out at the players after the defeat.

In a video shared on his X account, Ahmed Shehzad mocked Pakistan players using the lines of a funny viral song while saying “tumhe aata hi nahi hain, tumse hota hi nahi hai.” He then further mocked the home team, saying that Bangladesh came and fondly told him “Ami Tomake Bhalobashi” before completing a Banglawash.

“Pakistan has been whitewashed by Bangladesh in their own backyard. Tumhe aata hi nahi hain, tumse hota hi nahi hai (You don’t know how to do it. You can’t do it). What can I tell you? Bangladesh has completed their practice in Pakistan and the situation in their country is also not that good for them. They lovingly told you ‘Ami Tomake Bhalobashi’ (I love you) and whitewashed you in the series,” Ahmed Shehzad said.

They played great cricket and dominated Pakistan throughout the series – Ahmed Shehzad

Ahmed Shehzad further praised the Bangladesh players for their brilliant play and said that they taught Pakistan how real cricket is played.

“They played great cricket and dominated Pakistan throughout the series. Their pitching was brilliant and their batsmen showed incredible determination. They have taught Pakistan how Test cricket should be played. Their bowlers have taught them what a disciplined pitch looks like. Pakistan kept complaining about the pitch but Bangladesh’s batsmen made the same surface look like a flat track,” the Pakistan cricketer added.

Ahmed Shehzad added that the historic Test series win will bring smiles back on the faces of Bangladesh fans, who had been facing tough times due to political tensions in the country.

“Considering the current situation in Bangladesh, this victory will be a great motivation for Bangladeshi fans who are huge football fans. Bangladeshi players have done their best in these difficult times, both for their country and their fans,” he concluded.
