Jasprit Bumrah the highest wicket-taker in BGT 2024-25

Jasprit Bumrah, who has picked 185 Test wickets in 42 matches, has been the Indian national cricket team’s best player so far in the series.

Meanwhile, Bumrah faced a major injury scare in the pink ball Test, which shook the Indian camp. India bowling coach Morne Morkel revealed that Bumrah was totally fine and was only suffering from cramps. However, his bowling rates on the single he bowled in the later innings were a major concern.

Speaking on Fox Sports on Wednesday, December 11, Isa Guha said the 10-wicket loss in Adelaide is not something India should pay too much attention to.

He said the biggest concern for India right now is Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness and how his body feels ahead of the third game.

“I don’t think India will be too worried about what happened in Adelaide…they will enjoy going to the Gabba and playing in those conditions,” Guha said.

“The only concern they might have is Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness and what that affects the bowling attack… that’s where the main challenge for India lies,” he further added.
