The two teams have played 31 matches in the IPL overall, with Chennai Super Kings winning 20 matches while Royal Challengers Bangalore 10. CSK have won four of the last five matches between the two teams. CSk have dominated RCB in Chepauk winning seven matches against only one for RCB.
