Dhoni reached the fold in 15 and since then LSG only launched pacemakers for the last five overs.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) lost a close match to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) today in India Premier League (IPL 2025) when the team led by MS Dhoni won the contest with three remaining balls.
While Mrs. Dhoni and Shivam Dube played brilliantly in the Backend to take CSK on the completion line, it seemed that Rishabh Pant lost a trick by not playing Ravi Bishnoi her complete quota of four overs.
Bishnoi had threw himself brilliantly in the game with figures of 2 for 18 in three overs in an economy of only 6. While Dube faced only a couple of Bishnoi deliveries, Dhoni was not even exposed to the threat of a button that denied LSG a genuine opportunity to take wickt and the opportunity to take the balance in his favor.
Dhoni reached the fold in 15 and since then, LSG only launched pacemaker for the last five overs.
When asked about the decision, the LSG pattern said during the presentation ceremony after the party,
“We argued with many players, but we could not carry it (Bishnoi) deeper, that (bowling alley) did not happen today. The bowling in the power game have been a concern for us, but we can withdraw things.”
