Gujarat Giants take on RCB Women in match 13 of WPL 2024 on March 6. They are winless in the tournament so far, having lost all their matches in the Bengaluru match. They face a must-win situation in all their remaining matches in Delhi.

Gujarat Giants lost to RCB Women in the previous match after they were beaten for just 107. Bangalore chased down the target in 13 overs to hand them an embarrassing defeat.

The franchise finished last in WPL 2023 and has lost all of its matches so far, one against each equipment be specific. The Giant’s management has been guilty of not being able to find the perfect and strongest eleven for him.

Ideally, Laura Wolvaardt would open the batting with Beth Mooney. She is one of the best batsmen in international cricket at the moment. She is also the captain of the South African national team and is able to convey her sense of leadership to Mooney.

Phoebe Litchfield

Litchfield should hit at three. The 20-year-old has every chance to become Australia’s next best and she should make better use of her opportunities. She has scored 52 runs in four matches so far at an average of 15.50.

Veda Krishnamurthy

Veda should bat at four. The Indian batsman has a lot of experience playing in these conditions and she should bring her experience to the fore. She did not play in the previous match against RCB Women.

Harleen Deol
