He talked about his relationship with his coach, he is a little afraid of her because of so much respect and license to speak. Speaking about Crikipidea, he explained:

“I have played with Rahul Bhai, the player, since my early days in the Indian team. But I have a special attachment to him as a coach. I can tell him anything, he will never confuse me. Even if he is wrong.”

“We have built that relationship. But at the same time, I have that respect that I have for him. I have this little fear that comes from a lot of respect and license to talk about anything with him. I don’t know how else to say it. “It’s such a great bond.”

“Experimenting and learning has helped me” – Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin at the end of the series against England stated that he is confident in trying new things and experimenting and learning has helped him a lot. He also spoke about his stays in Ranchi and Dharamsala and said that he was happy with the way the ball came out of his hand. He said:

“I feel less insecure about how people feel about me. If I’m sure I can try something, I don’t stop. I have kept my ears and eyes open for good feedback. Unless I try, I can never learn. I’m not saying that following a method doesn’t work. But fortunately experimenting and learning have helped me.

“I was very happy with the way the ball came out (in those periods), and most of them were satisfied with this performance and the second innings in Ranchi. In India sometimes beauty is what happens.”

Ravichandran Ashwin will next be seen in action during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He will play for Rajasthan Royals in the league.
