Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar feels there will be less pressure on Ajinkya Rahane for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final as he was dropped from the squad. He also believes that it will be no different in the big game and that there will be less expectation of him.
Ajinkya Rahane was called up to the Indian squad for the ICC WTC final against Australia following injuries to Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant. The hitter was cut from the team last year after a torrid run. He last played for India in the Test against South Africa in January 2022.

Not many expected him to make it to the Indian team, but he showed great form in LPI 2023 too and was back on the team. It will be a great opportunity for him to claim his place in the team once again and show why he was selected.
