Rilee Rossouw has come up with a bold and fun prediction for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Punjab Kings recently posted a video of their players and coaches predicting the top run-scorers and wicket-takers for the tournaments.

The much-awaited tournament will begin on Sunday (June 2). The United States and the Caribbean are co-hosts of the tournament. A record 20 teams will participate in the tournament. The 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five teams each. The two best teams in each group will advance to the Super 8 phase.

The highly anticipated tournament will begin on Sunday (June 2) with the match between co-hosts the United States and Canada in Dallas. And before the competition, PBKS players and coaches predicted the players who could finish the campaign as the most prolific run-scorers and wicket-takers.

Harshal Patel, who finished IPL 2024 as the leading wicket-taker, started the predictions by picking Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli as the leading wicket-taker and run-scorer respectively. Jitesh Sharma, who led the team in the last game in the absence of Shikhar Dhawan and Sam Curran, then picked Suryakumar Yadav and his IPL teammate Arshdeep Singh.

After Jitesh, Rilee Rossouw came up with her funny prediction. The South African star hilariously picked Bumrah as the leading run-scorer before picking his compatriot Heinrich Klaasen as the leading wicket-taker, leaving Jitesh torn.

Watch as Rilee Rossouw reveals her hilarious prediction:

Talking about PBKS’ performance in IPL 2024, they struggled to do well once again and failed to clear the league stage once again. PBKS has failed to reach the playoffs since 2014, when it qualified for the finals.

In the just-concluded season, they struggled for consistency and never seemed to be in contention to reach the quarterfinals. In the end, they finished in ninth place with only 5 wins in 14 games.
