India batsman Virat Kohli did not have a great outing with the bat in the game against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The 19th game of the tournament is underway at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Virat Kohli started the innings quite well when he hit a magnificent cover to Naseem Shah on the first ball he faced. He looked like he would set the stage on fire as he timed the ball perfectly and also looked confident.
However, things did not go well for him after the two balls as he perished in the same over in the third ball. Naseem Shah played a short wide shot outside off and the ball seemed to stop on the surface. The batsman reached for the shot while trying to slap it.
Virat Kohli tried to play the shot over point and the ball went straight to Usman Khan from the toe. But what caught the attention of many was Anushka Sharma’s reaction after the first batsman departed early at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Anushka Sharma couldn’t believe Virat Kohli looked devastated. Her reaction went viral on the internet in a matter of minutes when the batsman died due to a low score against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 match.
