India and Pakistan face each other in game 19 of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Babar Azam won a good toss and opted to bowl first at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
The conditions in New York have been ideal for fast bowlers so far and Pakistan’s formidable pacers will look to make the most of them. Given that Pakistan has several pacers who can change the course of the game in a matter of a few deliveries and India has a formidable batting line-up, the India vs Pakistan contest promises to be a good contest.
Before the arch-rivals face off on the cricket field, a hilarious incident took place at the toss. Rohit Sharma was at the center of the incident as the Indian captain once again showed how distracted he was. After Ravi Shastri asked the India star to throw the coin, he was waiting for Babar Azam to do so before realizing that he had the coin in his pocket.

Speaking at the toss, Rohit said that he would have liked to bowl first and said, “I would have bowled first as well. We need to assess how the conditions develop and get an idea of what a good score is. The games have helped us assess the conditions.” here.
“We have talked about what we need to do as a batting unit to get a good score and then we have the bowling unit to defend. Every match is important in a World Cup, you can’t just turn up. Anything can happen. We will stay on track. the same XI,” he added.
India have already won a match at the same venue and would look to capitalize on that experience. Pakistan, on the other hand, started their campaign with a loss against the United States and would be desperate to win tonight.
