Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma will undoubtedly be India’s second opener in the upcoming match after his flawless century in the last match. The left-handed batsman smashed 100 off 47 balls with 7 fours and a six.

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad will be left with the losing position in the third T20I between India and Zimbabwe after his spectacular knock in the last match. The right-handed batsman scored 77 off 47.

Sai Sudharsan

Sai Sudharsan will also bat in the middle order in the third T20I against Zimbabwe. The left-handed batsman was benched in the first T20I and did not get a chance in the previous game. Therefore, he deserves another chance as he will only be part of the team for three games.

Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag will bat in the lower order and will be a hard-hitting batsman for the team. He got out cheaply by single digits in the opening T20I clash and did not get a chance to bat in the last game. Hence, he will aim for an impressive performance this time.

Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh showed what he is known for doing in the last match. The left-handed batsman hit 48 off 22 in the last match, with 5 sixes, and batted at a staggering strike rate of 218+.

Jitesh Sharma (WK)

Captain Shubman Gill might allow Jitesh Sharma to play in the third T20I against Zimbabwe. Dhruv Jurel was picked for the first two matches. Sharma will be replaced by Sanju Samson for the last two matches and the third T20I is the only match he can play in the series.

Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan had a spectacular performance in the previous T20I match as he picked up 3 wickets for just 15 runs in his 3 overs. He will remain in the playing XI after his impressive performance.
