India World Cup 2023 Schedule: Full Schedule With PDF, Match List, Schedule, Date, Venue & Time. The schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023 have already been announced. BCCI are the hosts and will kick off their campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8.

New Zealand and England meet on October 5 in Ahmedabad to officially kick off the campaign. The World Cup will be played in 10 stadiums in the country with Mumbai and Kolkata hosting a semi-final each. Ahmedabad will host the final on November 19.

The 2023 ICC World Cup will be played in a round-robin format with all the top teams playing each other once in the league stage. The four best teams will make the round of 16 and the best two will play in the final. The format remains the same as the 2019 World Cup. The Men in Blue last won an ICC title in 2013 under the leadership of MS Dhoni, which was the ICC Champions Trophy. The Men in Blue have repeatedly lost in the semi-finals and finals of ICC events in the past decade and the team faces severe criticism for failing to win an ICC final. They have lost as many as nine ICC finals in the past decade, the latest being the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final against England.

Rohit Sharma will lead the team at this ICC event. He, along with Virat Kohli, will be the two key hitters the entire nation will be pinning their hopes on. Among the bowlers, the return of Jasprit Bumrah is the biggest concern for the home team at the moment. The leading pacer has been out with a back injury since the T20 World Cup last year and also missed the WTC final against Australia recently.
